SCION SESSIONS PRESENTS LONG WINTER SPLIT 7” SERIES 

 VOLUME 1 OF THE LIMITED VINYL FEATURES DOOMSQUAD AND LIDO PIMIENTA 

Set to kick off November 8^th at The Great Hall, Long Winter is a monthly night of immersive and interactive music, visual art, installation, reading, food, and dance, conceived and produced by members of Fucked Up to help all Toronto artistic communities get through our long, cold winters. Now set for its second gelid season, Long Winter is conjuring up a storm of hibernal enhancements to its array of white delights. The November inauguration of Year 2 (Volume 1) introduces a very special collaboration between Long Winter, the bands onstage, and the creative minds at Scion Sessions. 

Each monthly Long Winter event will be punctuated by the release of a split 7" vinyl in the Long Winter 7" Series, featuring two disparate bands selected from the corresponding show lineup. The November edition features Doomsquad's dark drone-age "Disremember Dismember" paired with Lido Pimienta's seductive "La Capacidad (Invierno Largo)" on the inaugural double A side Long Winter 7".
